Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns at Hendersonville Medical Center.

You will receive on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology-accredited certification. The role requires presenting education to families about the importance of screening and timely intervention, while managing data entry and scheduling follow-ups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital after birth.
• Educate parents on the relevance of screening and early intervention.
• Ensure accurate data collection and documentation for each baby and screen.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when appropriate.
