Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CPR certification required or obtained upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.
• Entry level with 1–3 months of newborn/medical setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and provide education to parents on the relevance of screening.
• Collect data and ensure documentation for each screen is complete.
• Screen eligible babies efficiently while maintaining quality and safety.
• Notify supervisor of missed and referred babies and coordinate follow-up where appropriate.
• Adhere to PPE, vaccination and compliance policies during all hospital shifts.
