Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings after birth. You will work on-site at one or more hospital locations, receiving on‑the‑job training including annual American Academy of Audiology certification.

You will educate parents on screenings and ensure proper data collection, documentation, and follow‑ups while maintaining compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on results and next steps.
• Evaluate each patient for screen readiness to ensure reliable results.
• Collect demographic data and document every screen per protocol; upload results and billing data.
• Notify Site Supervisor of missed and final refer babies and schedule outpatient follow-ups.
