Job summary
Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician for the HCA HealthOne Mountain Ridge facility in Colorado.
The role involves performing newborn hearing screens, educating parents about importance of early intervention, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting during each shift. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required
Responsibilities
- Perform hearing screens and educate parents on the relevance of newborn screening.
- Evaluate patient readiness before screening to ensure reliable results.
- Collect baby data/demographics and document all screen-related information.
- Upload screen results, billing and state reporting by end of each shift.
- Notify Site Supervisor of missed and referred babies.
- Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
