Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is hiring a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform newborn hearing screens in the hospital after birth. This on-site role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays and offers on-the-job training with certification through the American Academy of Audiology.

We emphasize compassionate family interactions and precise data entry. Experience in healthcare is preferred but entry-level candidates with strong communication skills will be considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in the hospital after birth.
• Screen newborns on-site at hospital locations.
• Provide on-the-job training and pursue annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate with families sensitively.
• Accurately collect and enter data and prioritize daily tasks.
