Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform screening in hospital settings. You will be on-site at one or more hospital locations and receive on-the-job training with annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology.

Responsibilities include performing screens, educating families, documenting data, and coordinating follow-up appointments, all while adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certification or obtained upon offer.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings for eligible babies.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Collect demographics and document screen results per protocol.
• Upload results and state reports by end of each shift.
• Adhere to PPE, safety, and hospital policies.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
