Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based newborn hearing screens and educate parents. On-site role with on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification.

You will ensure screen readiness, collect accurate data, document results, and support follow-up scheduling while complying with hospital policies. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtain upon offer.
• Flexible with weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens for newborns in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of newborn hearing screens.
• Ensure PPE, required vaccinations, and hospital policies are followed.
• Collect baby demographics and screen data accurately.
• Document results and upload reports by end of shift.
• Coordinate outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
