Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens in hospital settings, following each birth. The role includes hands-on training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification.

You will screen newborns, educate families, and ensure proper data handling and reporting. Work is performed at Monmouth Medical Center and other hospital locations as needed, with emphasis on accurate screens, patient education, and timely communication with supervisors

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens and provide education to parents on the relevance of screening.
• Ensure screens are completed for eligible babies and documentation is accurate.
• Upload results and billing information by the end of each shift and reconcile statistics.
