Job summary

Ferman Automotive Group is seeking a New & Used Sales Associate to guide guests through the vehicle buying journey, from inquiry to delivery, while delivering outstanding service and meeting sales targets.

In a fast-paced automotive retail setting, you will greet guests, present features and financing options, conduct demonstrations and test drives, and build lasting relationships to drive repeat and referral business. Prior automotive sales experience is a plus, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
• Prior sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Automotive sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Training provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist in selecting new and used vehicles.
• Present features, pricing, and financing options clearly.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives with guests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Follow up with guests after initial contact to maintain engagement and close sales.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems.
• Work with internet leads, showroom traffic, and phone inquiries to generate sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance managers to ensure smooth transaction completion.
• Stay knowledgeable about inventory, promotions, and manufacturer incentives.
• Appraise trade-in vehicles and provide accurate evaluations.
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and performance goals.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with dealership policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused attitude at all times.
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and dealership events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by sales management.
