Meijer Inc. is preparing to open a new store in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville, IL, serving the St. Louis Metro area. We seek an engaged Assistant Store Director to lead operations, planograms, staffing, and performance management from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of retail/grocery/operations management experience.
• 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and people development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall store operations across food and general merchandise.
• Manage planograms, seasonal resets, and endcaps.
• Engage and lead team to deliver excellent customer service and sales growth.
• Develop staffing strategies and recruit to meet forecasted needs.
