Meijer is opening a brand-new store in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville, IL, serving the greater St. Louis Metro Area. We are seeking an engaged Overnight Stocking Manager to lead a team and drive store operations from day one.

The role focuses on team engagement, talent development, and managing area operations and financials while ensuring safety and adherence to Meijer standards. Occasional travel for training is required before store opening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Strong service orientation.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decision making.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training, and development.
• Identify talent and build a diverse leadership pipeline.
• Conduct candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, including budget and P&L.
• Drive safety and compliance; manage store condition and procedures.
• Guide Team Leads and Leads with daily work and training needs.
