Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in medical scheduling or front desk.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
• Strong customer service and phone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume clinical environment.
• Detail-oriented with data entry and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor and team player.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm new patient appointments via phone, email, and online scheduling platforms.
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information at intake.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure provider availability.
• Manage high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain and update EHR with accurate patient data.
• Follow up on referrals and ensure timely onboarding.
• Communicate office policies, prep instructions, and appointment reminders.
