US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience while supporting daily medical office operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling, registering patients, verifying insurance, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of administrative support experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes, pre-authorization, verification, CPT/ICD coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and address questions and concerns.
• Answer calls, provide information, transfer calls, and take messages.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Register new patients and update demographics and financial info.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations for next-day appointments.
• Process billing-related tasks and collect payments including copays and deductibles.
• Maintain patient records and log orthotics received.
• Support office tasks and projects as needed.
