Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in medical scheduling, front desk, or patient coordination preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume clinical environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm new patient appointments via phone, email, and online scheduling platforms.
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information during intake.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate scheduling and provider availability.
• Manage high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with accurate patient data.
• Follow up on referrals and ensure timely patient onboarding.
• Communicate office policies, preparation instructions, and appointment reminders to new patients.
