Job summary

Advanced Utility Systems, a Harris division, seeks a Senior Account Executive to win new municipal utility accounts across North America. This role focuses on new logos, not existing accounts, leveraging MEDDPICC and AI tools to shape RFPs and proposals.

You will own the pursuit from discovery to contract, build executive relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to win complex bids. Travel about 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of quota-carrying software sales experience to municipal utilities or public sector buyers.
• Proven new-logo track record with utilities.
• Experience with public sector procurement, including RFP response, bid/no-bid decisions, and contract negotiation.
• Ability to influence buying process before the RFP is issued, through consultant relationships and executive sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work across North America.

Responsibilities

• Win new municipal utility accounts across North American markets.
• Own a new-logo quota in electric, water, wastewater, and gas utilities.
• Develop relationships with utility managers, finance directors, and board members.
• Lead RFP responses from kickoff to submission and coordinate cross-functional teams.
