Advanced Utility Systems, a division of Harris, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to win new municipal utility customers for the CIS Infinity platform and related products. This remote, quota-carrying role focuses on new logos with no install-base farming and requires a proven track record in public sector software sales.

You will build target account plans, drive MEDDPICC qualification, and shape RFP responses in collaboration with product, services, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of quota-carrying software sales to municipal utilities or public sector buyers.
• Track record of new-logo wins and complex enterprise deals.
• Experience with public sector procurement processes (RFPs, bids, evaluations).
• Ability to influence buying processes before RFPs are issued and use MEDDPICC.

Responsibilities

• Own a new-logo quota across North American municipal utilities (electric, water, wastewater, gas).
• Develop target account plans and identify favorable contracting windows.
• Build relationships with utility managers, finance directors, and procurement leaders.
• Lead discovery to connect operational pain to a business case for the committee.
• Own RFP responses from kickoff to submission and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Mentor a new sales teammate and share pursuit learnings.
• Apply AI to win rates, response quality, and proposal timelines.
