Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in New Bern, NC is seeking a New Home Design-Sales Representative to lead our growing homebuilding business. You will guide buyers through the mortgage process, lot purchase, finishes selections, and the building timeline to a successful closing.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in new construction sales, a background in construction or supplier materials, and the ability to develop new business. Strong communication and closing skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales gained through construction sales.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate in Business/Marketing is preferred.
• Exposure to construction field operations (Superintendent/Construction Manager) is a plus.
• 2+ years of inside-outside sales experience, preferably in new homes.
• Strong prospecting, selling, and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Real estate license not required.
• Ability to respond to leads and meet potential customers.
• Coordinate with construction team to finalize customized plans.
• Review plans and work with banks to close loans.
• Aim to meet annual home sales goals.
