Job summary

The Onboarding and Experience Specialist at Rochester Regional Health is responsible for executing all onboarding activities for new team members and transfers across the system. This role also handles in-seat promotions, demotions, lateral moves and additional jobs, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for new hires.

You will support new teammates through their first year and help them feel a sense of belonging.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relatable experience required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with new team members and existing employees during onboarding and transfers.
• Mentor candidates through onboarding, communicating next steps and timelines to validate qualifications promptly.
• Communicate candidate status to stakeholders such as hiring manager, recruiter, learning and development, and other departments.
• Manage all pre-employment background checks as required by company or regulators.
• Partner with affiliations to schedule pre-employment health appointments for new team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Support new team members through their first year and foster a sense of belonging.
• Communicate issues related to the new teammate experience to leadership.
• Collect and document feedback from new team members and share with relevant parties.
