Job summary

Banner Health is hiring for a New Nurse Experience (NNE) residency position on 4 North (4N) in Tucson, AZ. This full-time RN role supports graduates transitioning to professional nursing, with night shift duties and comprehensive mentorship.

You will participate in clinical experiences, simulations, and competency assessments, while developing skills across progressive care and related specialties within Banner facilities.

Qualifications

• Recent graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current and valid RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted at select locations.
• Current BLS certification.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a care plan with the health team.
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately in the chart.
• Mentor and precept other staff on the unit.
• Participate in ongoing training and evidence-based practice.
