You will rotate through onboarding, work a 4x10 schedule, and pair with preceptors to gain competency in infusion nursing and cancer care. Training emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and family-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license (MSL) or multi-state license with WA as home state.
• BLS certification current every two years.
• Oncology nursing experience not required but training provided.
• Chemotherapy/biotherapy knowledge preferred; training provided within unit.
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card within 3 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Assess patient needs and develop a care plan.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatments.
• Coordinate with inter-disciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Administer chemotherapy, IV hydration, blood products as prescribed.
• Document and communicate patient status and response to treatment.
