Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse for Infusion at the Northwest Clinic. This residency focuses on oncology, immunotherapy, and bone marrow transplant care, with hands-on supervision by experienced preceptors.

The role begins with centralized onboarding and shifts designed to teach safe administration, patient assessment, and family education, culminating in a competent infusion nurse in a high-volume ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN Multistate License (MSL) or eligible to obtain WA MSL within 60 days of hire.
• Oncology experience not required; training provided.
• BLS Provider Card with renewal every two years.
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card within 3 months of hire.
• Strong critical thinking and time management.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team.
• Ability to develop clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, immunotherapy in infusion setting.
• Work with preceptors to ensure safe, accurate patient care and education.
• Learn oncology care, immunotherapy, and bone marrow transplant protocols.
• Assess patients, monitor treatment response, and manage symptoms.
• Collaborate with care team and coordinate multidisciplinary support.
