Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking an Infusion RN for outpatient oncology care. You will work under a preceptor, administering chemotherapy, biologics, and supportive therapies, while ensuring patient safety and education.

The role emphasizes hands-on practice in oncology nursing, assessment, and collaborative care planning within a multidisciplinary team. A strong commitment to research and compassionate patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current Washington State Registered Nurse Multistate License (MSL) or equivalent license and ability to update to WA MSL within 60 days of hire.
• Oncology experience is preferred; if not, training will be provided.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers; renewal required every two years.
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and evaluate adaptation to health changes.
• Develop a care plan based on disease, symptoms, and treatment response.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, side effects, and symptom management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Refer patients and caregivers to social work, home health, nutrition, and other resources as appropriate.
• Implement, evaluate, and modify care plans; integrate research and evidence into practice.
• Demonstrate nursing assessments, review labs, and administer chemotherapy/biotherapy and blood products.
