This role targets a proven automotive sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership, focusing on customer experience, coaching, and profitability. You will guide consultants, manage opportunities, and drive showroom performance.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the automotive sales process from lead to delivery.
• A successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to coach different personalities and experience levels.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• A customer-first approach while maintaining a strong focus on dealership profitability.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.

• Strong computer and CRM skills.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of New Car Sales Consultants.
• Work directly with sales consultants on customer opportunities, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Manage and work sales leads, appointments, follow-up, and showroom traffic.
• Monitor individual and team performance and establish clear expectations.
• Conduct daily sales meetings and provide ongoing coaching and training.
• Help sales consultants improve their product knowledge, sales skills, follow-up, and closing techniques.
• Work closely with the General Sales Manager and dealership leadership to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain a strong focus on gross profit, units, CSI, appointments, and overall department performance.
• Ensure sales processes and dealership policies are consistently followed.
• Assist with inventory management, vehicle merchandising, and new vehicle sales strategy.
• Help create an energetic, professional, and team-oriented showroom environment.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talented sales professionals.
• Step in wherever needed to help the sales team deliver an exceptional customer experience.
