What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outreach methods, including calls and emails
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and interests in hosting Book Fairs
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
