This role involves outreach to schools, relationship building, and collaboration with the sales team. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners; initiate outreach via calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify prospects and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
