What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach via calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify prospects and set up appointments for Account Managers, focusing on their needs and interests
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage a sales pipeline, keeping accurate records in the CRM system and tracking progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and stay informed on industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, and customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation, Customer Relationship Management, or web-based software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various functions
