A leading educational publishing company seeks a motivated sales professional to connect with schools and promote literacy through Book Fairs. This role involves building relationships with educators, qualifying leads, and collaborating with the sales team. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs, timelines, and interests in hosting Book Fairs, and set appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy and support school communities
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and stay informed about industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members
