What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads and set up appointments to connect prospects with Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate records of interactions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall effectiveness

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and colleagues
