Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York is seeking a New Business Conflicts Clearance Analyst to join our firm. This hybrid role will be based in our New York office and will support the conflicts clearance team by conducting thorough conflicts checks and maintaining accurate records in the conflicts database.

You will review conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest, collaborate with conflicts attorneys and the Office of the General Counsel to resolve issues,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience at an Am Law 200 firm preferred.
• Experience with IManage or Intapp preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough conflicts checks for new matters.
• Maintain conflicts records in the conflicts database.
• Review conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts.
• Collaborate with Conflicts Attorneys and GC to resolve issues.
• Communicate with attorneys and staff to gather necessary information.
• Validate requirements for each conflict check for compliance.
• Perform corporate research to verify information.
• Coordinate with Client Accounting and other departments to ensure data integrity.
• Provide after-hours and weekend coverage as needed.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and written communication.
