Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer II to lead integration, test, and launch activities for the Neutron vehicle. You will develop processes, build tooling, and ensure successful assembly and testing across subsystems.

Requirements include a BS in aerospace/mechanical/manufacturing engineering and 2+ years in hardware related to launch vehicles; MS degree is a plus. Competitive compensation and stock benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience building and testing launch vehicle hardware.
• Proven ability to author comprehensive work instructions and procedures for assembly, test, and launch.
• Experience interfacing with mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop con-ops and ground support tooling for Neutron vehicle components.
• Develop and execute procedures for integration of flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Support Neutron Integration Manager in day-to-day vehicle integration, propellant systems, avionics, and testing.
• Design and develop tools/hardware to enable vehicle processing and testing.
• Maintain planning documents including vehicle configurations and work scope.
