Job summary

Rocket Lab seeks a Vehicle Integration Engineer II to lead integration, test, and launch activities for the Neutron vehicle. You will design and implement ground support tooling, write procedures, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure successful vehicle builds and launches.

You will develop and refine processes for day-to-day operations, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to improving vehicle processing facilities while working with a skilled technical

Qualifications

• BS in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to write and maintain assembly, test, and launch procedures.
• Experience interfacing mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop con-ops and build ground support tooling for Neutron vehicle handling.
• Create procedures for integrating Neutron flight hardware with ground support equipment.
• Support day-to-day Neutron vehicle integration, propellant, avionics, and AFTS activities.
• Develop inspection, repair/retrofit, assembly and system test procedures based on lessons learned.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, work scope, and non-conformances for system improvements.
