Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Senior Vehicle Integration and Test Technician to lead assembly and test activities for the Neutron launch vehicle. The role collaborates with system owners and a close-knit team to drive build, integration, and testing of mechanical, fluids, and avionics systems.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in regulated manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and a hands-on approach to problem solving and leadership on the shop floor.

Qualifications

8+ years of assembly and/or test experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong eye for detail and precision in handling aerospace components.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and guide technicians during assembly and test procedures.
Develop and document assembly and test procedures with system owners.
Provide hands-on leadership for installation and testing of aerospace flight components.
Train technicians in industry standards and best practices for assembly and testing.
Troubleshoot issues and drive workflow efficiency improvements.
Support other operations to enable rapid processing of Neutron integration.
