Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for the Neutron program in the United States. The role focuses on integration, testing, and launch preparation of Neutron, with responsibilities spanning development of ground tooling, procedures, and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.

Required is a BS in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building and testing hardware for launch vehicles and environments.
• Proficiency in authoring comprehensive work instructions and procedures for assembly, test, and launch.
• Ability to interface with mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop ground support tooling and processes for Neutron launch vehicle components and stages.
• Create procedures for integrating Neutron flight hardware with ground support equipment.
• Support 1st and 2nd stage integration, propellant systems, avionics, and related testing.
• Design and develop tools and hardware to enable vehicle processing and testing.
