Job summary

Rocket Lab seeks a Vehicle Integration Engineer to lead integration, test, and launch of the Neutron vehicle from our Maryland-based facilities. You will develop processes, build ground support tooling, and drive readiness for flight hardware through assembly and testing, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and avionics teams.

The role emphasizes creating and executing procedures, maintaining configuration plans, and delivering efficient vehicle processing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building and testing hardware for a launch vehicle or related environments.
• Proven ability to author comprehensive assembly, test, and launch work instructions.
• Ability to interface across mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive build of ground support tooling and processes for Neutron vehicle components.
• Develop and execute procedures for integration of flight hardware with ground support equipment.
• Support day-to-day Neutron integration, propellant system, avionics, and AFTS operations; refine inspections and test procedures.
• Maintain planning documents for vehicle configurations and work scope.
• Design tools and hardware to enable vehicle processing and testing.
