Responsibilities

  • Clinical Duties: Greets, screens, schedules and directs patients; manage medical records/images; assist physician and APP; coordinate pre-op activities and scheduling; ensure pre-op testing and tests are completed; assist with OR and case submission.
  • Admin Duties: Screen calls; maintain calendars; arrange travel and reimbursements; complete prior authorizations; manage correspondence; contribute to operational changes; mentor staff; develop scheduling protocols; triage patients to appropriate physician.
  • Billing Duties: Ensure operative reports and forms are submitted for billing on time; knowledge of reimbursement across third party payers.

Education

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
4+ years Medical office experience, or 4 years of customer service experience. Related clinical office experience required. A degree (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's) may be considered in lieu of experience.
