Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required; two+ years of medical office or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification and medical billing is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate schedules, triage calls, and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greets, screens, schedules and directs patients with a positive and helpful demeanor.
• Retrieve and process incoming medical records/images; ensure timely physician review.
• Assist physicians and APP with patient relations and outpatient scheduling.
• Provide coverage for team members during absences or staffing shortages.
• Schedule procedures, OR time, and ancillary tests; manage pre-op and pre-certifications.
