Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine is seeking a care coordinator to support the physicians' office in Phoenix, AZ. You will handle clerical tasks, EMR data entry, patient check-in, vitals capture, and coordination of referrals and appointments, while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's a plus) and 1–2 years of medical setting experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to deliver outstanding patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Registers new patients in the EMR prior to scheduling.
• Ensures consultations and notes are available to the physician prior to patient arrival.

• Enters orders and e-prescribe information; creates clinical visit summaries.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates referrals.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
