Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine seeks a Care Coordinator Float to support physicians in the Phoenix office. You will handle patient intake, charting in EMR, scheduling, and communications with teams to ensure timely care.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a medical setting, strong communication, and organizational skills; a high school diploma or GED is required, Bachelor’s degree a plus. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative work culture.

Responsibilities

• Registers new patients in EMR with demographic and insurance information.
• Ensures all initial consultations, notes, lab slips, reports available for physician prior to arrival.
• Opens chart encounters in Athena One and maintains patient records.
• Greets patients, rooms patients, and takes vitals for physician review.
• Enters orders and E-Prescribe information and creates visit summaries.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and communicates with physician staff for continuity of care.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Works with leaders to support clinic operations and supplies.
