Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist in Louisville, KY. The field-based role will drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy, building partnerships with psychiatrists and treatment centers while aligning with regulatory and patient access frameworks.

The role requires 5–8+ years in pharma/biotech sales, strong clinical acumen, and the ability to operate across clinical education, account management, and access workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, buy-and-bill, and payer processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the company’s innovative mental health therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other key stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling product and disease-state education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding patient selection and referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding, readiness, and optimization of treatment delivery workflows.
