Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist for a field-based role in Cincinnati, OH, covering Dayton and travel up to 70%. You will drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy, educate providers, and build partnerships with treatment centers and payers.

This role emphasizes clinical education, pre-launch preparation, and coordination across Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations to ensure successful patient access and launch execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement and site-of-care dynamics.
• Proven track record launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.
• Experience with specialty treatment centers, IDNs, academic medical centers, or complex site-of-care models preferred.
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to optimize delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient flow considerations for the treatment model.
• Cross-functionally partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and payer challenges.
• Gather and communicate field insights to inform brand strategy and launch.
