Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist in the United States to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy across designated treatment centers in the New Orleans area. The role focuses on building trusted partnerships with psychiatrists and health systems while aligning with regulatory and access considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience with site-of-care dynamics, payer processes, and prior authorization.
• Proven success launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product and disease-state education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support pathways for referral and access.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to support onboarding and delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and scheduling considerations.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations to coordinate execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and payer processes.
• Communicate actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and launch plans.
• Manage territory planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, and patient-centric behaviors.
• Contribute to collaborative, accountable, and learning-focused culture.
