Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist for a field-based role covering the Brooklyn, NY area. The position focuses on launching a novel mental health therapy and building relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and integrated care systems.

The role involves consultative education, account management, and driving access and uptake while aligning with regulatory and safety frameworks. Travel up to 70% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Experience with site-of-care dynamics and payer processes is a plus.
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to convey complex science clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the company’s therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product and disease-state education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding referral pathways and patient selection.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to support onboarding, readiness, and workflow optimization.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling and patient flow.
