Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team and manage an assigned U.S. territory from Charlottesville, VA. The role focuses on communicating Ipsen’s products and resources to healthcare providers and pharmacists to drive safe, effective patient use.

The ideal candidate has a B.S./B.A. degree and 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with neuroscience and migraine/ toxin-therapy promotion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Attain designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and ensure product availability in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across approved indications.
• Navigate complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Develop and implement effective business plans and manage the territory efficiently.
