Job summary

Lundbeck, a global biopharmaceutical company focusing on brain health, is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager in Findlay/Toledo East, OH. You will lead promotion of the psychiatry portfolio, executing sales strategies with clinical knowledge to drive performance.

Essential functions include developing account plans, selling messages, building relationships, and applying therapeutic expertise to uncover opportunities. Travel up to 30–40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use data-based insights to create opportunities and allocate resources to maximize sales performance.
• Selling: deliver messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections, and close with a commitment to action.
• Customer Development: build and maintain relationships aligned with customer needs and organizational goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: gather trends, map linkages, apply therapeutic knowledge to identify opportunities.
• Reimbursement: stay informed on payer dynamics and address access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: ensure adherence to policies and FDA regulations.
