The role emphasizes building relationships, using data to guide planning, understanding reimbursement, and complying with FDA regulations. Travel up to 40% is required; a BA/BS and 2+ years in related sales are preferred, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use digital tools and data-based insights to create opportunities and allocate resources.
• Selling: deliver messages clearly, probe needs, and close with action commitments.
• Customer Development: build productive internal and external relationships aligned to goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: map trends and apply therapeutic knowledge to opportunities.
• Reimbursement: stay informed on payer dynamics and access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: adhere to policies and FDA regulations in promotion.
