Job summary

Lundbeck in the United States is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager to drive promotion of our psychiatry portfolio in the Tacoma area. You will execute sales strategies with clinical knowledge to achieve targets while building key accounts and trusted relationships.

The role requires 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales, a BA/BS, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel up to 30-40% nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use digital tools and data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy and tactics, allocate resources to enhance sales execution, monitor progress and adjust direction.
• Selling: deliver messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections, and secure commitments to action.
• Customer Development: build and maintain productive relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: identify market trends and apply therapeutic knowledge to uncover opportunities.
• Reimbursement: stay informed on payer dynamics and address access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: ensure adherence to policies and FDA regulations.
