Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to lead promotion of our psychiatry portfolio across a Baltimore-based territory. You will execute sales strategies with clinical knowledge, build internal and external relationships, and drive outcomes in specialty and primary care settings.

The role requires 2+ years of healthcare sales experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to travel up to 40% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharma/biopharma/biologics/medical device sales or related healthcare sales.
• Demonstrate ability to score highly on disease and product training exams.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic, tenacity and outstanding communication.
• Adaptability to fast-paced team environment.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Data analysis skills to develop short- and long-term goals.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Credentialing requirements of healthcare providers/customers must be met.

Responsibilities

• Business planning & account leadership using data-based insights to create opportunities and strategy.
• Sell and deliver messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections and close calls.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
• Apply local market and therapeutic area knowledge to uncover opportunities.
• Understand reimbursement dynamics and payer access issues.
• Comply with pharmaceutical regulatory environment and Lundbeck policies.
