Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager in Springfield, MA to drive promotion of our psychiatry portfolio and execute sales strategies with strong clinical knowledge. You will lead customer engagements, develop plans, and coordinate with internal teams to maximize sales performance.

The role requires 2+ years in pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales, a Bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel up to 30–40% domestically. Expect competitive benefits, PTO, and a company car.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required for continued employment with Lundbeck.

Responsibilities

• Lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio and execute sales/marketing strategies with clinical knowledge.
• Deliver messages clearly, probe customer needs, handle objections, and close with a commitment to action.
• Build and maintain productive relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals.
• Gather and validate market trends, map account linkages, and apply therapeutic knowledge to prioritize opportunities.
• Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics and address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical and regulatory environment, and adhere to Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.
