Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team is recruiting a Field Reimbursement Manager for the San Francisco, CA territory, which includes Sacramento, Fresno & San Jose. The role focuses on education, access, and payer collaboration to optimize patient entry into Janssen therapies.

It requires engaging with healthcare providers, on-site visits up to 50% initially and up to 75% travel, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant access and affordability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration.
• MBA or MPH is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in reimbursement or managed care environments.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes and coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support and account managers on access and fulfillment.
• Lead compliant access discussions with field teams.
• Use data and account management to address access barriers.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients.
• Partner with managed care colleagues on policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access education.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers in accounts.
• Manage territory logistics and account planning.
• Stay informed on market dynamics and hub distributions.
• Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, sales, etc.).
• Serve as SME on education and insights across payers.
