Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager II for the DBS neuromodulation portfolio in Louisville, KY. You will lead regional sales plans, build trust with physicians and support staff, and drive referrals while maintaining compliance and collaborating with leadership.

You will operate in a highly matrixed environment, manage schedules, analyze sales data, and travel as needed to meet territory objectives and customer needs within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the medical devices industry.
• Ability and willingness to travel within assigned area on a regular basis.
• Capable and willing to work an unpredictable schedule that may change on short notice.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels and to large groups within and outside the organization.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and accustomed to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identifies strategies to increase referrals and overcome barriers to growth.
• Integrates into accounts, builds trust with customers, KOLs, and industry leaders.
• Generate additional sales revenue in the region by increasing referrals of eligible patients.
• Collects and studies information about products and monitors competitor activity.
• Ensures prompt follow-up of sales leads and timely filing of reports.
• Coordinates implanting schedules of Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists.
